Kay Electric Energy Camp Participants Return Home Inspired and Empowered ⚡️
What an incredible week at Energy Camp in Hinton, Oklahoma! Nearly 80 campers from across the state spent the week building leadership skills, learning about the cooperative difference, and exploring the many ways electric cooperatives power our communities. From live line demonstrations and EV showcases to leadership sessions, squad challenges, and a neon dance party, campers stayed fully charged from start to finish.
Kay Electric Cooperative is proud to recognize Max Kayne, Hadley Estes, Jailynn Litton, and Anna Polifka for representing our cooperative at this year's Energy Camp. Throughout the week, they embraced new challenges, developed leadership and teamwork skills, and formed friendships with fellow campers from across Oklahoma.
The camp provided opportunities to learn about the electric cooperative industry, gain confidence, and experience firsthand the values that make cooperatives unique. By stepping outside their comfort zones and participating in a variety of educational and team-building activities, Max, Hadley, Jailynn, and Anna made the most of this unforgettable experience while representing Kay Electric with pride.
We are incredibly proud of each of them for their enthusiasm, willingness to try new things, and commitment to personal growth. The friendships, memories, and lessons they gained at Energy Camp will continue to have a positive impact long after the week has ended.
A huge thank you to the counselors, presenters, volunteers, and cooperative staff who made this experience possible. The future is bright with these young leaders leading the way, and Kay Electric Cooperative is honored to support opportunities that help prepare the next generation for success. 🌟⚡️
