Kay Electric Cooperative would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Our Blood Institute Blood Drive held on May 29 in the Kay Room.
Because of the generosity of our members, employees, and community supporters, the blood drive exceeded its goal of 16 donors. We welcomed 19 donors, resulting in 17 successful donations and 19 blood products added to the lifesaving blood supply.
Those donations have the potential to save up to 57 lives, making a tremendous impact on patients and families in need throughout our region.
We are proud to partner with Our Blood Institute to help strengthen the blood supply and support lifesaving care in our communities. Every donation makes a difference, and the success of this blood drive demonstrates the incredible generosity and community spirit of those we serve.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this event a success. Your willingness to give the gift of life is truly appreciated, and we look forward to partnering with Our Blood Institute again in the future.
