Max is currently engaged in farming and ranching. Max attended Deer Creek/Lamont High School and college at Oklahoma State with a degree in Agronomy.
Max and his wife Becky have been married since 1981, have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. They have been members since 1981.
Max is a member of the Lamont Christian Church and has been active on the Kay Electric Board of Directors and Board President since 2005. While serving on the KEC Board, Max has achieved his Credentialed Cooperative Director, Board Leadership Certification, and Director Gold Credential.
