Mike is currently engaged in farming. Mike attended Caldwell High School in Kansas and college at Oklahoma State with a degree in Agriculture.
Mike and his wife Beth have been married since 2014, he has 6 children and 4 grandchildren. They have been members of Kay Electric since 1980.
Mike is a member of the Central Christian Church in Caldwell, KS, and has been active on the Kay Electric Board of Directors since 1989. Mike has also served on the Western Farmer’s Cooperative Board since 2001. While serving on the KEC Board, Mike has achieved his Credentialed Cooperative Director, Board Leadership Certification, and Director Gold Credential.
